Education and Work Experience
Richard, a native of New Roads, Louisiana, is a graduate of Catholic High of Pointe Coupee and holds a B. S. degree in accounting from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Richard spent the first eighteen years of his adult career working for the State of Louisiana as a budget analyst and as the Director of the Louisiana State Police Retirement System. This training provided the basis for Richard’s desire to become a financial advisor and an independent business owner.
Richard has applied his financial knowledge and experience toward assisting a wide variety of clients who want to invest for retirement or to become retired. Whether a business owner or a retiree, his typical client is 55 or over. He or she wants a conservative approach to investing for retirement income or managing retirement income that has the potential to generate growth over time.
Richard recognizes that trust in the financial advice being provided is the key to a successful client advisor relationship. Richard is committed to finding investment strategies for the client that fit his or her financial goals, objectives, and tolerance for risk.
Richard has always been an advocate of responsible citizenship and government. This has been reflected by his membership and support of Rotary Club, Pointe Coupee Parish School Board, Pointe Coupee Chamber of Commerce, and the Pointe Coupee Home Rule Charter Commission.
